You can see a picture of her above the cash register at our shop. Hardly a week goes by without someone asking for a price on the picture. We have had many offers, the highest so far was $2,000. That would not come close to tempting us. . . We also use the word "spirit" and never "ghost". The latter haunts and the former is haunting. There is a big difference. We have have excerts from her diary (where I found that she just goes by Joy and hates her first name) including one of her very best poems from her diary is here. Be aware, the diaries are not being added here in sequential order. I am adding them as I can but it is work. She left a series of old notebooks, tablets, etc that are all handwritten in her beautiful script. Still there is so much to go through. Stay turned. There will be more coming for years to come. Pictures, too. . . Just click on "Diaries" on the menu at the top of the page. The link is just below Story of Joy. 979 |
Construction
DON'T LET THE CONSTRUCTION ON CALDER WORRY YOU! IT IS STILL EASY TO GET TO US.
From 11th Street, go one block past Calder (to the east) and turn right on McFadden. Go one block and turn right on 10th. Then go about 100 feet and turn left into our parking lot by Rao's Bakery.

The story of Joy will find its way to these pages with time. There is a lot to tell.
